Beyond Ourselves...

Many of our clients reach their initial financial priorities they set, and find it difficult to know how their money can line up with their values, beyond themselves and their family. FinancialMD strongly believes every Earth citizen blessed with financial means has a duty and a privelge to pay it forward.  Donating is a part of a good financial plan, but often we don't know where to start. Below we have compiled a list of charities and missions that are near and dear to us and our clients. If you have a cause that you are passionate about, and want to share with the FMD community, email us at info@financialmd.com

Youth Haven

Youth Haven is committed to meeting the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of disadvantaged children. This includes boys and girls living in foster care, single-parent families, or low-income homes, as well as children who have experienced abuse, neglect, gang violence, or even a parent in prison.

The Champion Project

Children all over the world are stuck in abuse, poverty, and neglect. Left alone, fighting simply to survive. They are seemingly forgotten; without hope or a voice.

In 2017, the orphanage my husband and I had been serving in Thailand lost their main sponsor. This was devastating, and jepordized the orphanage’s ability to continue, and more importantly the children’s futures.

We could not let this happen. We knew something had to be done.

And so we started The Champion Project; an organization created to empower orphanages; to provide safety, education, and hope so that these children have the opportunity to become the champions they were created to be.

We find tuition sponsors for each child, have assisted in starting 3 successful businesses to promote self-sustainability and are currently paying for the property of the orphanage to be owned by them so these children will never be without a home ever again.
